  • Description: Two youths (Christina Sylva and Takis Varlamos) living in a rural town fall in love and elope. After a fierce pursuit the girl returns to her father (Theodoros Moridis) pregnant, and after she gives birth her father takes her baby away, telling her it died during labor. The girl leaves for Athens where she marries a businessman (Lampros Konstantaras) but loses her sight in an accident. Remorseful, her father seeks her child (Takis Vidos), and the woman, overwhelmed by joy at the reunion, regains her sight.
